In January 2014, TESS hosted a co-design event at the Milan Politecnico. About 20 people, mostly students from the Master’s Programme in Service Design at the Politecnico and professionals from external design companies, teamed up in 4 different groups and worked for two days – 16 hours in total – in order to get to a first proposal for the user experience design of the TESS interactive platform.

Instead of a traditional top-down design process, TESS applied a collaborative process and invited a large number of stakeholders to design the interactive platform in a participatory way.
